Single Phase Inverter: Updating the firmware

Instructions:

1. Download the attached .zip file from the email, and extract the contents.
2. Copy the unzipped ‘Update’ folder from the downloads folder on your device to the freshly formatted flash drive.
   *Please note: When extracting the ‘Update’ folder, a duplicate ‘Update’ folder will be created, and you will need to copy the secondary ‘Update’ folder to your prepared flash drive.
3. Insert your flash drive into the inverter. The USB port used is also the port used for the data logger. You will need to unplug the data logger for the update process.
4. Once the flash drive is plugged in you will be prompted to select a ‘FW Upgrade’ option
5. Select Main CPU and select Upgrade
6. Once it says Program success, remove USB and reinsert
7. Select Slave CPU and select Upgrade
8. Once it says Program success, remove USB and reinsert
9. Select HMI and select Upgrade
10. Once it says Program success, remove USB and reinsert

Please ensure you have an application that can interface with .zip format folders installed on your device, namely Winzip or 7zip. The firmware files will vary between inverter series’ but the process will remain the same. The Flash Drive used will need to be USB 1.0 generation formatted in the FAT32 format and must be 32GB or smaller in storage size.
