5kW Solar Power System – Claremont

Congratulations Chris on the installation of your Solar Power System in Claremont, Cape Town. The system contains 5.5kW of glass on glass solar panels with an all integrated 13kWh Li-ion Battery Energy Storage System.

This will enable Chris and his family to live virtually off the grid during the 300 days a year of sunshine while providing power security in the event of a power failure or load shedding.

During the long days of summer, any excess solar power that is not either consumed by their home or stored in batteries is exported to the grid.
